Domaine de l’Olivette has been in the hands of the Dumoutier family since the 18th century. Developed over the generations. It now comprises some 135 acres located on the slopes of Le Castelet in the heart of the Bandol appellation.
Their rosé is a blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre; fresh and lively, it offers nicely melded flavors of strawberry, white cherry and mango, with light watermelon rind and mineral notes imparting spine through the finish.
The body and minerality allow the wine to pair well with a variety of dishes--think grilled fish and vegetables in the warmer months, then roasted red meats and spicy dishes in the colder months.
