This Malbec from Mendoza, Argentina is a blend of more than 100 plots, transitioning to organic, where “the earth meets the sky” at the foothills of the Andes. Terrazas de los Andes now owns more than 500 hectares of vineyards. Several parcels successfully earned the Regenerative Organic Certified status which the company plans on expanding to the remaining properties by 2026.
Blending youthful mountain fruit from the vineyards in the Uco Valley with grapes from higher terroirs of las Compuertas in Luján de Cuyo creates a wine that is brimming with bright fruits and an aromatic acidity. The Malbec is fresh and intensely fruity with black and red fruit flavors like blackberry, plum and strawberry, together with typical violet and mountain spices notes of cold climate Malbec. Serve with grilled or stewed meats, chocolate, coconut desserts.
