Glendalough's Double Barrel Irish Whiskey begins its maturation process in flame charred ex Bourban American oak. It is finished in Oloroso casks from Montille, a small town found in the rolling hils of the Spanish countryside. Glendalough chose the the bodega, the liquid, the casks and the cooper in this region of Spain to deliver a terrior-driven sense of this land, encapsulated in the liquid when they put their whiskey in these slow toasted casks for aging. These speciality selected casks combined with expert liquid finishing, deliver a rich and complex flavor to this Double Barrel Irish Whiskey.
