Color: Clear and bright cherry colors with ruby hues around the edge of the glass.
Nose: With the glass still, mineral and inky nuances with reminders of phosphorous and hints of white pepper and toffee. When the glass is swirled, it is intense and seductive with reminders of bay leaf, sage and rosemary, all edged with toasted notes and hints of cedar from its good aging process.
Palate: a fresh, lively attack. Pleasant, juicy, creamy tannins as it passes through the mouth, with a good combination of ripe fruit flavors and mountain herbs. The finish is long, with tannins to make the mouth water, leaving a long, lingering aftertaste.
